This post of Neil's makes me a bit sad when contemplating that eventually Neil will die, and then what will I do? Though you can't hear it, there's self-deprecating sarcasm at the end there.

In other news, I'm going to Berkeley next Monday! Also, that's the last day of my Greek myths class, after which it will be 'goodbye IVC' and 'hello driving all the way to Anaheim'. (My orientation's on Saturday... I think I'm taking the night classes.)

I find that I don't have enough money to accomplish all my obligations (rent, food, car maintenance) and be able to have fun, since they cut my hours. $350-400 every two weeks used to cover it, but now I'm down to about $270 and it's ridiculous. I mean, setting aside "fun things", I still keep going through the savings i'm supposed to have for rent. I must ask Adam to give me more hours, since all I end up doing when I'm not at work is sitting on my ass bored anyway. Though to be fair, soon it will be June and I will likely complain of being overworked (on here). I guess I'm too picky.

This is why Neil is my idol. Aside from his storytelling gift. :3

I've now gotten into Ragnarok Online, and though being a novice is rather hellish, it is pretty fun. Kind of odd to have to level up by fighting such weak monsters, but... It's how it goes. Also, should be booking my flight up to Berkeley soon! *crosses fingers* And I managed to write more crack! Hallelujah!

Ohh yes and such some of the greatest news: Toadies are back!!! Agh I can finally see them in concert~~. Their new CD's pretty damn cool too. Ahh they must come to CA......!!

Right. I need to find everyone's Christmas presents.

....AGH AND CAMACAKE PICS MUST BE SCANNED AND COLOURED. DD: Grr stupid scanner. D:<

OMG I ACTUALLY SAW NEIL. MY LIFE IS COMPLETE.

...Well, okay, there's tons of things that would complete my life even more BUT REALLY this was the top thing! lkjlakgnald nalnganganadjbna IT WAS SO EPIC!!!

I had forgotten how hard it is to stare at someone as they're standing or sitting completely still, whether they're speaking or not. Maybe especially if they're speaking? I learned that one in Ortiz. It was infinitely better and more frustrating watching Neil 'cos the darkness-blobs would infringe upon my concentration. >.> But...! He read a chapter--7, Part 1--and he stopped at the most awesome cliffhanger part, where Bod goes up to his old room and Frost reveals himself as the man Jack. <3! Then we were treated to Coraline snippets, then the Q&A where Neil made cute faces occasionally, and then a reading of his "Blueberry Girl" poem as a final privilege. Ohhh it surely was much better than a signing, and I think most of the audience apreciated it more. I did get a signed book as well, and a shirt. But shh... I must stop there. ;D

Very tired. Must sleep now. <3

Needless to say, I want my PSP. D:< If only my dad would pay for my cap and gown... But whatever. It'll work out somehow. Haha yeah I just realized I have more money than I thought since I'm not actually paying for my cap and gown, it just feels that way to my wallet. ^^;

So I started watching Samurai 7, and even though I'm only on episode 2, it looks promising. Let's see... Interesting things from the past week... Last night I played Aurora's copy of No More Heroes and Brawl, and I hate competition but I love Travis's character design and would greatly like to draw him. I also finished reading Sandman Dust Covers and I love Dave for loving fish. And as always, even as a were-panda with a fucked-up nose, Neil is so cute/awesome. Yeah, I'm a creeper. Maybe I shouldn't actually meet him... >.> Ahem. Oh, and yeah, those bitches in San Francisco made their Death of a Party show 21+, as it is in a bar. D:< I hope they come down south sometime soon...

Ah!! And the new episode of Criminal Minds was so amazingly Reid-centric this week!! XD He's so cute. Such an uke. I wish they'd make him angstier. My stupid Cox Box killed the first few minutes for us... Technology hates me. Ah well. The feeling is mutual. Well. Love-hate. :P

P.S.: I have now realized that aside from guys in glasses, guys with the razor-bob mod haircut are teh shit. XD

PSP Fund: $192/$224

So normally when I read Neil's blog I get very excited and happy and think Neil is amazing. It's not that it wasn't the same this time, but since Maddy was writing it I felt like a serious creeper... 17-year-old girl stalking 48-year-old man? Shouldn't it be the other way around? (Ugh I just Wiki'd him o double-check his age and learned his middle name. I SWEAR I'M NOT A STALKER! T^T)

Just thought I'd share. o.o

I fell in love with Team Bruno when I watched Dance War for the first time two weeks ago. Phillip's so cute, and they're so charismatic... I'm so happy they won!! They deserved it way more than Team Carrie Ann; they're more together than TCA. :P Their single pwns Team Carrie Ann's anyway. So does "Sway". Take that, bitches. :3

Also, I ordered my Scary Trousers shirt!!! And it ships tomorrow!! XDD

Let's see. New things... Well, I'm sick. Not enough to be incapacitating, but just enough to feel hazy and lazy and scritchy-throated. I've also officially been on Ski Week vacation as of 12:06 this afternoon. I finally got a new sketchbook, and have proceeded to draw a pretty good fanart piece of Hirako from Bleach. W00t. And I still have no idea when Watching The Detectives comes out, or if it's even out now or not, thought I'm inclined to say it isn't. D:

However! I have received some seriously awesome news today (would have received it sooner but I now fail to check my e-mail every day-slash-check Neil's blog daily. ^^;)

Awesome News #1: The Graveyard Book has a release date, and it's September 30th! Bring on the graveyardy bookshop parties, fuck yeah!

Awesome News #2: Finally, finally, finally, and as appropriate a day as possible to send out the news (Valentine's), Sweetheart will be out September 2! Damn, if September isn't my lucky month. XD Behold the evidence.

Saturday Laurel and I made cupcakes. Not just any cupcakes - cupcakes for Neil. So if he manages to update his blog and nothing amazingly or horribly exciting has happened to overshadow our entry, we might be lucky enough to have been posted onto his blog! They were very tasty cupcakes, although the decorative aspect didn't turn out as well as we would've liked. But at least we tried. <3

Today, though, I finally got a new phone. It's an old Chocolate, white, and I attached my Ulquiorra phone strap so it's extra special. I like it, but I'd like it better if I could get the damn music software to work. D:

Well, Laurel and I did actually manage to get to Comic-Con yesterday. What we didn't expect, however, was the HORRIBLE, DEADLY PRE-REG LINE OF DOOM. Seriously. It looked like it was 5 hours long (granted it only took us 2 hours to get through it, but...). But even so, once we had gotten our badges, it was nearly impossible to get out, and having never been to Comic-Con before we were thoroughly lost--we *needed* to get to Hall H, which had been right near where the line was outside (though far, far away from the inside one, apparently). Hall H was where Neil would be--our main purpose of going to the con (and quite possibly the purpose of our lives of the month) along with the other people presenting new movie footage from Paramount Pictures. But no~, we were foiled by our con-struck sense of direction and an impossible case of beginner's luck. So we failed. T^T

However. We managed to get to the Exhbit Hall, and giddily spent all our money on trinkets. Oh if it weren't for stupid pay-day being on Friday...! I had only $60 and spent the first $13 on food. Oh yes, food. Did I mention how our *brains* were melting out our *noses*, we were so hungry? Oh no, no breakfast for us, we were too busy trying to look as J-Rock as possible with crazy makeup... But anyway. (We did look bitchin' tho, <3.) So $13 on food. Then we found this most amazing guy's booth with awesomely dorky pins...And we talked about how creepy porn is,  then we bought pins, then he gave us cookies. (I dropped mine. It was so brittle it crumbled out of my mouth when I was holding it there looking in my purse. u.u Cookie.....) *Then* we looked all over til my work-wearied feet were numb, and I ran out of money. But the most awesome yet horribel part was...We saw Neil. Doing an interview. 10 feet away from us, but we were trapped in a line and unsure of what to do. (I could see his *head*! And his *jacket*! Argh!!) But we didn't want to be the horribly annoying fangirls so we let him leave. We rationalized that way, yes. Argh. u.u (...Unfortunately, unlike AX, there wasn't a particular highlight in loot. But that's all right. I did so want that mini-Cthulhu plushie though...!!)

Next year, Neil, we'll meet you, or I'm committing hara-kiri. No, really. o.o

Treasure Found:
- (3) pins: O RLY? owl, red OMFG type, red You Fail thumbs down; (1) Next Exit graphic novel; (1) Vuduberi ash-tan-colored demon girl shirt, size L; (1) D.Gray-Man anime promo poster
