The atmosphere in my house is very gloomy. Monday night Eric and Carrie had an argument, and Eric requested that I drive him up to our mom's house so he could think about what he wants to do about their relationship. He wanted to stay up there for at least a week, I think. But then, in the morning, a devastating piece of news was waiting for us: The night before, Carrie found Puka throwing up behind my TV set. She waited through the night with him until she could go to the vet, but before they could help fix the problem, he was gone. Now Haus is wandering our apartment calling for Puka, feeling a little lost I think, and we three have rainclouds over our heads. The doctors said it was because he ate something he shouldn't've eaten, though Eric is shocked at this because he insists that they, as wild cats, have very strong stomachs and can eat almost anything. I feel like if the object were a complicated metal piece or something toxic that it wold still affect him. We don't know any of the details; I think neither of them wants to call the vet to find out because it will be too final.

I was sort of in shock as yesterday moved on, and it hurt a little extra because I haven't had medication to take since two weeks ago. I still can't believe I'll never see that Puka being a hot dog again, or trotting with his Pooh bear in tow, or being a two-headed kitty with Haus... -_- I'll miss him.

On a brighter note, today I had my first outside-of-work visit with Brittany, my friend from work. She's really cute, very stylish, and loads of fun to talk to; all we did this evening was hang out in her room and talk and trade anecdotes and check out pictures and videos on her computer. It's so odd, she actually wants friends as badly as I do and she was the one to suggest we hang out sometime. I'm not used to other people taking the initiative and choosing me for their partner-in-crime, haha! We get along really well, so I'm sure I'll see her again as soon as our schedules allow. Also, my dad randomly gave me $40 today, for absolutely no reason. Things are looking up.

I was without medication from last Weds until this Weds. While I'm fine and medicated now, it made for a pretty shitty week, what with my rampant self-hatred and insecurity. But I'm fine now. >.> Thurs. and Fri. I went up to my mom's new house in Crestline, up in the mountains, and she was very excited that I finally came up to visit. She helped me bleach my hair and we ran errands, went shopping, and watched Iron Man.  Next week she's going to come down and help me with the black bits in my hair, and we'll go to the World Market place since they didn't have my lamp when we went before.

Last night work was so crazy, crazier than Saturdays have been for months, and none of us could figure out why until it was mentioned that tax returns came. Having seen my return magically appear into my bank account, I have to say, if I didn't think it was somehow a mistake, and if I didn't have to pay off my credit cards etc, I'd be out shopping too. Though I can't resist entirely; today I bought myself a new pair of black skinny pants from the sale section at Hot Topic. Which is very exciting shit, I'm sure, for those who are not me. >.>

Today, however, was excellent!! I had lunch with my dad at Pei Wei - free and delicious food, always nice - and afterwards I met Rory at the Spectrum so she could find Sims 3. (Alas, its release was pushed back to June 2.) Instead I bought jeans and they bought sandwiches, and then we proceeded to pick up Rianna from her house.; Moony elected to spend time with her Sam instead. We missed her, but at least she was having fun. :3 he party was at Rory's, where as usual we say "Let's write some Camacake!" and do everything but. Well, Rianna was writing a bit, and we fleshed out some of the plot, but. Still. Rory played Twilight Princess to show us the Palace of Twilight,  I looked up black boots and surfed the Internet until we lost it. Then we drove Rianna home, got sugar at Ralphs, and Rory showed me her freaking amazingly cute so-good-it-makes-your-heart-explode-with-the-awesome story about the Gates' employees' ploy to have Nevan crossdress. It's awesome. <3

My mouth is full of cookie dough. This song is really crazy.
