Finally, a moment to breathe and to post.

I finally, finally, finally after many years of waiting, got to see the Toadies live in concert!! This was Fri. To make it even more awesome, I didn't go alone - Rory came with me, and we shared this fucking epic experience together. It was the first concert she went to where she actually knew and liked the band a ton beforehand. It makes me happy. I don't know how to describe how awesome it was without using the words awesome, OMG, or fuck. Except maybe oamvlavno;djbnljb ncokvmdxkmxoasdfghjkl;. XD But oh God, the sheer energy of this band! Even 15 years later, they still know how to shake the fuckin' house down with rock. Even though Todd can't really scream anymore. <3 And the crowd! Every single person in the house was amped for this show, and most of them did more than just stand there. Oh, it was so great, so fun, so kinetic. Let's see... In no particular order, they played "Mexican Hairless", "Mister Love", "Backslider", "Possum Kingdom", "Quitter", "Away", "I Come From The Water", "Tyler", "I Burn", "Push the Hand", "Little Sin", "Heel", "Sweetness", "So Long Lovey Eyes", "No Deliverance", "Song I Hate", "Paper Dress", and one song I didn't have that must have come from that random self-released or uber-indie-label CD. Or something.  >.> Their encore was "Tyler", and "I Burn". It was so cute, they listened to the crowd's requests - most of them were yelling for "Tyler" but some (myself included) yelled for "I Burn". Not because I didn't want "Tyler", just because I'm contrary like that. But then the band huddled to converse and then proceeded to play both of them!! Ah, so awesome. I can't even say. <3

The title comes from the moments during "Mexican Hairless" when a guy dressed in a pizza mascot costume came and bounded crazily around the stage, crashing into band members on his way. After the song finishes and he leaves, Todd comments with "What the fuck?" and "...Fuckin' pizza." Pure gold. XD

This is why Neil is my idol. Aside from his storytelling gift. :3

I've now gotten into Ragnarok Online, and though being a novice is rather hellish, it is pretty fun. Kind of odd to have to level up by fighting such weak monsters, but... It's how it goes. Also, should be booking my flight up to Berkeley soon! *crosses fingers* And I managed to write more crack! Hallelujah!

Ohh yes and such some of the greatest news: Toadies are back!!! Agh I can finally see them in concert~~. Their new CD's pretty damn cool too. Ahh they must come to CA......!!

Right. I need to find everyone's Christmas presents.

....AGH AND CAMACAKE PICS MUST BE SCANNED AND COLOURED. DD: Grr stupid scanner. D:<
